What is your brand?
“Your brand is what other people say about you when you're not in the room.”
– Jeff Bezos, Amazon
It stretches far beyond the colour of your logo or design of your website. Your brand incorporates how you deal with your clients and how your sales or customer service team deal with your clients. It is also made up of the personality you present on social media or on video. It is how you present every aspect of you or your business to others.
Your brand design
The design of your brand is a very important aspect of your overall brand. This aspect of your brand is made up by your logo design, colour palette, stationary (business cards, letterheads, compliment slips), the design of your online presence (including website, blog, social media channels etc), your promotional material (brochures, flyers, booklets, magazines, promotional banners etc) and advertising material (in print & online). Your brand design is often the first impression your prospective clients will get of your business, so it is important that the design represents the image that you are trying to portray.
Well, what should my brand design look like?
This will depend on your business and it is something we will develop along side you. You will often have an idea yourself, and we are here to bring it to life and get the concept online and into print for you. If you don't have any idea, then we will work on the design concept with you. Depending on your business, your brand design may be ultra professional, warm and inviting, hip and cool, traditional, contemporary, medical, sporty, energetic or whatever you feel is an applicable image for you and your business.
Your brand story
We are all used to good brand design, as we have grown up in a time of hyper advertising, extreme marketing and now even more so in the internet era. In the static media, such as print and traditional websites, brands were made up of clever graphic design and well written copy and it was difficult to bring a human touch to your marketing without the use of TV and Radio (which was, and still is, relatively expensive). Your brand personality only became apparent when a client made contact with the business through meeting or talking to someone in the business.
With the advent of social media, and the development of highly accessible video (in both production and delivery), it is now possible to add this personal dimension to your brand and create an emotional connection with your prospective clients. By adding this aspect to your brand you can make that connection at an early stage in the sales process, i.e at the decision point as to whether they will connect with your brand or not. The primary ways to deliver this aspect of your brand are social media and video.
So, what can we do for you?
We can work with you to make sure your brand image looks sharp (design), we can work to develop your online profile (through digital marketing) and develop an appropriate message (web content) for the business to create a connection with your potential clients that will optimise your sales channel.
